Pixar's UP

I'm totally excited to see the new Pixar film, UP, in 3D on Monday. It's gotten absolute rave reviews. One guy at our office gave Star Trek a glowing review, adding that he was NOT the Trekky nerd type at all, but still loved it. I, in fact, had heard similar things said by many friends. But this guy then added that 20 minutes into UP, the Pixar film blew Star Trek out of the water. That's how incredible it is.

So, me being a fan of kitsch and toys and whatnot, I immediately (even before seeing the film) was drawn to this adorable kid's tee in the Disney store, modeled after the attire worn by the pudgy 8-year-old character Russell in the movie. "Suit up for adventure in our Up Wilderness Explorer Tee from Pixar's latest animated film, Up. Eight-year-old Russell is a Wilderness Explorer who has earned every badge except one for ''Assisting the Elderly.'' He sets out to help a senior citizen sporting a uniform that looks just like this Wilderness Explorer t-shirt! Wear it to do your own good deeds!"

I kind of need it. And when a certain somebody warned me not to get it because it's ugly, and I said "it's cuuuute," this person retorted with, "for a 5 year old." Which might very well be true. Does it count that I'm a 5-year-old at heart? What do you think of the shirt?
