My name is Kelly McCormick. I currently work as a copywriter for an advertising agency in New York City, specializing in digital, interactive, and new media. Clients include MasterCard, ExxonMobil, General Mills, Applebee's, Microsoft, Kohl's, Avis, and more.

Though my 9-5 job involves writing, I also like to write in my free time. You can find some of my poetry here, but I also enjoy writing short fiction and have a vague goal of one day writing a novel. I also love oil painting, photography, and making art in general. I am someone that needs to be active - I love almost all sports and exercise activities, including tennis, swimming, running, golf, horseback-riding, squash.

 I also like lots of weird things, including the word "huzzah", the word "wunderbar", music that has clapping in it, grilled cheese sandwiches with onions, outdoor showers, baby bok choy, baby sloths, summer, sweatshirts, jamaica, blistered shishito peppers, thunderstorms, bonfires, inchworms, rocky & bullwinkle, boris & natasha, minimalism, and chinese finger traps.
